Jason Seiden, one of our illustrious planners, has put together some helpful information for those wondering about the logistics of the event. I’ll link out to his post on the topic, but I wanted to clarify a few things first.
- Dress code is casual. I (and many others) wore jeans for the first event. What you wear isn’t going to matter!
- The ticket price includes food and drinks throughout the day. We have some good stuff planned for that, so don’t you worry!
- We’re looking for individual sponsors. Some of our hopeful attendees can’t afford to travel and would greatly benefit from a small sponsorship. For instance, we have someone who attended the first event but can’t make it this time. She is sponsoring someone else to attend in her stead. If you’d like to do something similar, let me know.
I’m sure there’s more I’m forgetting to cover, but I’m riffing here. Anyway, please check out Jason’s post on logistics to find out more.
Want to make your trip worthwhile? This event has the potential to blow you away, but what you do after you leave is going to make all the difference in the world. Yes, I’m aware that we’re more than a month away from the next event, but you can still start preparing, right?
I read an amazing post on Web Worker Daily that was perfect for the people who’ve decided to attend HRevolution. Here’s a sneak peek:
How many times have you returned from a conference only to file the materials and never look at them again? Attending the event is only half of the equation in making a conference pay off. The other half is what you do with the information after you return home.
A great conference leaves you feeling empowered, inspired and ready to take on whatever comes your way. And then you arrive home feeling overwhelmed as you unpack, do laundry, open snail mail and handle all the mundane stuff that needs doing. Not only that, but also you have so much information that you hardly know where to begin to put it to use.

On Thursday, March 25th, Steve Boese and Shauna Moerke previewed the HRevolution event on the always interesting and very fun HR Happy Hour online radio show. They covered some amazing topics and answered questions from the audience about the event. Check it out below if you’re on the fence or just want to know what to expect at HRevolution!
